The World Energy Council is a member-based global energy network with over 3,000 member organisations in around 90 countries.  It hosted its bi-annual World Energy Congress event, the world’s premier energy gathering, in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

To mark the occasion, the Council held a reception for its VIP guests at the Abu Dhabi Sorbonne University.  This corporate event was attended by over 1000 guests.
